Refund Policy & COD

At Damm Jewels, we deal in artificial (imitation) jewelry. Due to the delicate, hygienic, and handcrafted nature of our products, we follow a strict refund policy to prevent misuse and fraud.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds are ONLY applicable under the following conditions:

  • Product received is physically damaged

  • Product received is manufacturing defective

  • Product received is incorrect (wrong item sent)

The issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

2. Mandatory Proof Requirement (Very Important)

To be eligible for any refund:

  • A clear, uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory

  • Video must start before opening the package

  • Package label, seal, and product must be clearly visible

  • Clear photos of the damaged/incorrect product must be provided

 No unboxing video = No refund (no exceptions)

This rule exists to prevent fraudulent claims.

3. Non-Refundable Situations (No Refund Will Be Given)

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Customer does not like the product

  • Change of mind after placing the order

  • Color/design difference due to screen resolution or lighting

  • Product looks “different from expectation”

  • Minor imperfections inherent to artificial jewelry

  • Damage caused after delivery or during self-handling

  • Used, worn, altered, or washed products

  • Missing original packaging, tags, or accessories

  • Late complaints raised after 24 hours of delivery

  • Orders refused at delivery (especially COD orders)

  • Courier delays beyond our control

  • Force majeure events (natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns)

4. Protection Against Common Customer Misuse

To safeguard Damm Jewels from fraudulent activities:

  • Claims with edited, cut, or unclear videos will be rejected

  • Previously worn jewelry returned claiming “damage” will be rejected

  • Replacement of original product with a fake or different item will be rejected

  • Repeated refund requests from the same customer may result in:

    • Permanent account blocking

    • COD disabled for future orders

All refund decisions made by Damm Jewels are final and binding.

5. Refund Process & Timeline

  • Once the claim is approved, refund will be processed within 5–7 business days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders:

    • Refunds will be processed via UPI or bank transfer

    • Customer must share correct payment details within 48 hours

Failure to share payment details may result in refund cancellation.

6. Partial Refunds

In certain cases, partial refunds may be issued at our discretion if:

  • Minor damage does not affect usability

  • Discount or promotional items are involved

7. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return shipping cost (if applicable) will be borne by the customer unless the error is from our side

8. Right to Refuse Refund

Damm Jewels reserves the full right to refuse refunds if:

  • Policy terms are violated

  • Fraud or misuse is suspected

  • Customer behavior is abusive or threatening

  • Evidence provided is insufficient or manipulated

9. Legal Disclaimer

By placing an order on Damm Jewels, the customer agrees to this Refund Policy in full.

COD is available on selected products and locations only.

COD availability will be shown at checkout.

Additional COD charges may apply (if mentioned).

Orders placed with COD cannot be cancelled after dispatch.

Repeated refusal of COD orders may result in COD being disabled for future purchases.
